Alcaraz aiming for more ink if he wins AO
Carlos Alcaraz has already mapped out celebration plans if he can complete a career Grand Slam sweep by winning the Australian Open next month.
The world No. 3 already owns trophies from Roland Garros and Wimbledon this year plus the 2023 Wimbledon title and US Open honours from 2022.
But winning in Melbourne would spark the Spaniard into getting another tattoo to mark the big event.
“I’m thinking of getting a kangaroo tattooed,” the 21-year-old told Marca.
“(But) before that, I want to make sure that I enjoy a solid vacation. For me, it’s crucial to take a break from tennis and recharge my batteries.”
Alcaraz has been indeed already in honour of his other titles at the majors. The breakthrough win at the US Open was marked by a simple date while Wimbledon rated a strawberry and Roland Garros was marked by a Eiffel Tower design.
