Barty surprises with another big reveal
Ash Barty dropped a personal bombshell on Christmas, with the retired three-time Grand Slam champion announcing she and her husband Gary Kissick are expecting a second child.
The former world No. 1 who retired in 2022 shortly after winning her home Australian Open for the first time, dropped her news on social media with a family photo with their son Hayden, facing a with a t-shirt reading: “I am going to be a big brother.” “Merry Christmas from our growing family to yours!” added the caption.
Barty quit at the top of her career, marrying and giving birth to Hayden in July, 2023.
The 28-year-old who ended with 44 singles titles, is due to participate in an charity exhibition on the fringe of next week’s Brisbane International, on Sunday.
