Alexander  Bublik is on the march in Paris with a victory for the World No. 16  giving him his 15th victory against a top 10 player and his 6th of the season.

The Kazakh beat Australian Alex de Minaur 6-7(5), 6-4, 7-5 coming back from a set down to secure a win that takes him to the semi-finals of a Masters 1000 for the first time in his career.

Bublik also keeps alive a slim chance of qualifying for the ATP Finals.

He was outside the top 80 six months ago but since then has climbed up the rankings by winning four titles and secured his highest ever ranking at World No. 13.

If he makes it to the final in Paris he could reach No. 11.

He next faces Félix Auger-Aliassime in the semis and both players remain in contention to reach ATP Finals in Turin.
