Djoko shows x-ray proof of his hamstring injury
Novak Djokobic is expected to miss around six weeks of ATP play after posting an x-ray of the hamstring injury which forced him to quit his Australian Open semi-final against Alexander Zverev.
The 37-year-old Serb ws jeered by a Laver court crowd after throwing in the towel after losing the first set against Alexander Zverev.
Reports around the grounds suggested that Djokovic might not have been as injured as he made out.
The 24-time Grand Slam winner answered the critics with his caption on the social media posting.
“Thought I’d leave this here for all the sports injury ‘experts’ out there,” the 10-time Australian Open champion posted along with the MRI image which showed serious bruising inside his thigh.

After Djokovc walked off court to boos, Zvererv stepped in to try and calm the situation.
“But you’ve got to understand – Novak Djokovic is somebody that has given this sport, for the past 20 years, absolutely everything of his life.”
According to the potential six-week timetable, Djokovic would rush to be ready for the Indian Wells Masters, which begin the first week of March.
