In form Jack Draper extended his current run of form to seven matches by beating fifth seed Taylor Fritz in the Rolex Paris Masters 7-6(6), 4-6, 6-4 to reach the round of 16.

Fritz  had to fight off eight of ten break point chances.

Draper said afterwards “! know if I want to be a consistent top player, I’m going to have to back up match after match against the top players in the world,” Draper said. “The toughest part (in Paris) has been adjusting to the conditions. It’s a lot different, a lot faster, which has made it tougher off the ground. I didn’t play my best, but I’m proud of how I competed and problem-solved.”

Last Sunday Brit Draper collected his second tour level win at the Erste Bank in Vienna.

After his win the 22 year old left hander issued a warning to Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz that he is motivated to “really shake up” the top players next year.

Draper currently stands at a career high  15th in the ATP rankings and faces Aussie Alex de Minaur today.
