FAA into 4th consecutive Masters 1000 semi
Recent Shanghai champion Félix Auger-Aliassime beat Valentin Vacherot, the new world No. 40, 6-2, 6-2 to reach the Rolex Paris Masters Semi Final.
The Monegasque arrived in the quarters with having won 12 of his last 14 matches, including beating Brit Cameron Norrie who put out Carlos Alcaraz in the previous round, but he could not handle the FAA service
The Canadian won 89% of his first serves and 75% of this second and gave away only six points on his own serve during the whole match.
Felix Auger-Aliassime’s win, his 21st in 25 appearance puts him for the 4th consecutive time into a Masters 1000 semi-final.
The 25 year old Monaco resident is just one win away from a spot in the ATP Finals in Turin and just 90 points behind Lorenzo Musetti.
If he makes the final in Paris, he will confirm his place in Turin.
