Katie, Alex confirm love match
Australian Alex de Minaur and Brit Katie Boulter have announced their engagement ahead of the scheduled United Cup competition face off between their two nations beginning on New Year’s Day.
“We’ve been keeping a small secret…,” Boulter wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of the pair with her engagement ring prominently displayed.
The 25-year-old Aussie proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes.
The couple started dating in March 2022.
Since their relationship started, both Boulter and de Minaur have progressed in their respective tennis careers.
Their colleagues are thrilled for the latest development in their love story.
Paula Badosa, Olga Danilovic, Marta Kostyuk, and Leylah Fernandez were among those who congratulated the couple.
de Minaur’s compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis reacted on social media “About damn time.”
