Emma Raducanu may have had the last laugh as she clapped back with a social media post at doubters who have suggested that her lucrative contract with German carmaker Porsche was on the scrapheap.

The No. 58 who has not had a steady week of play since mid-September has apparently got her sponsored ride back after British tabloid reports that Porsche was considering cutting her loose.

The 2021 US Open winner whose career has crashed after multiple injury and coaching changes, last played in Korea in September.

Since then her big plans for a comeback have consistently stalled.

With Raducanu raking in millions from an assortment high-profile sponsorships which may not have come good, she is apparently still in the good graces of Porsche,

And the 21-year-old was quick to lash out at the doubters with a social media post this week showing her behind the wheel of a GBP 100,000 Porsche Cayenne – admittedly a different ride than her previous 125,000 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet

“Like I vanished and reappeared,” the photo caption read.

Porsche also stepped up with a re-endorsement: “Emma Raducanu is a global brand ambassador for Porsche and there have not been any changes within our successful partnership since it started in 2022. We are very happy with our partnership.”

Raducanu is reportedly hoping to be fit for Britain’s upcoming BJK Cup date in Spain but with no guarantees that she will be able to front up for the final event of this season next month.
